Engineering Week Committee
The Engineering Week Committee is responsible for planning and implementing Engineering Week events for February of each
year. Engineering Week typically includes engineering-related competitions and service events. Additionally, Engineering
Week is a time to promote involvement with clubs within the College, and to reach out to local high school students.
Advertising and Public Relations Committee
Students that are interested in advertising and PR might enjoy serving in the Advertising and Public Relation Committee.
Committee members plan and organize publicity campaigns, advertise individual service events and activities, and maintain
the council web page.
Service and Outreach Committee
The Service and Outreach Committee is responsible for planning and running service events, and reaching out to local high
schools. In the past, clubs have worked with ETSC to put together presentations to be delivered by engineering and
technology students to local high schools.
Student Advisory Council
The Student Advisory Council is a body of student representatives who, through committee work, surveys, discussion, and
other means, gather the opinions of students that will be shared with administration. The goals of the Council parallel
the Faculty and Administrative Advisory Councils. As representatives on behalf of the College of Engineering and
Technology, it is our job to conduct relevant research on behalf of the college, and to work as liaisons to administration
to make positive changes for not only the students within the college, but for the campus at large.
