Engineering and Technology Executive Council

The Executive Council is a small organization of students supported and directed by the Deans Office with the charge to
help achieve key strategic outcomes for students of the College. The Executive Council has four main areas of
responsibility from the viewpoint of the College:
- Advise college leadership on programs and directions related to student experiences, especially those
experiences that are not part of the traditional curriculum
- Promote achievement of the educational outcomes of leadership, global awareness, character, and innovation
across the college
- Support and promote clubs and chapters within the college
- Direct and manage key college-wide student activities such as Engineering Week, club participation in
the Career Fair, and fund raising.
Executive officers are elected by clubs and chapters within the college, each of which has one vote. Any student
within the college can run for office. Elections are held at the end of winter semester each year.
If you are interested in running for office, send us an email at
